Using Selenium For Regression Testing

Selenium is a framework for regression testing, which is software that verifies that your old application still is functioning as expected. Selenium is also cross platform and can be used with Java, .Net, or Python which makes it a solution that can be used by the many different developers at the University of Arizona. This talk will walk you through the minimal concepts needed for selenium and finish with basic regression application that tests a University Web Site. We will also explore more advanced techniques such as logging in as different users for an application that uses webauth. The audience will be left with the tools to setup basic regression tests for their website.
