Presentation Logistics

Time and Location

UA IT Summit Breakout Sessions will take place on November 6, 2018 in the Student Union Grand Ballroom.

Abstract Submission

  1. Be a maximum of two hundred words in length
  2. Include the name of the presenter and his/her title
  3. Include the names of any additional presenters (up to four) and their titles
  4. Include the length of the presentation (either 45 or 20 minutes)

Presentation Format


  • Windows 10 computers with Office 2016, a projector and screen will be provided.


  • Presentations should be of interest to a broad campus audience.
  • Demonstrations should be thoroughly tested prior to the date of the event and be concise enough to be performed in a timely manner.
  • Any handouts will need to be printed and brought to the presentation.
  • Slide decks and demo links will be requested three weeks prior to the day of the event. Bring a backup copy of your presentation with you.


All presenters must register for the conference. Registration is free to UA IT professionals and will open in the Summer.

Submission Review

Presentation submissions will be reviewed by the Programming Committee and presenters will be notified by the Programming Chair if their submission has been selected. Presentations will be judged on several categories including germaneness to the themes of the summit, completeness of presentation, and interest to campus. If the presentation is not selected, the submission may be requested to be presented as a poster.
