Want to make Alexa do more than tell a joke or ask your favorite color? We’ll start with a primer/refresher on building a basic Alexa conversation flow, then we'll take it up a notch. You’ll step through a project to construct a non-trivial Alexa skill that involves application logic and a backend data source. We'll cover all the steps: designing your intents, utterances, and interaction model; processing Alexa speech input via Lambda functions; and integrating a backend data source into the conversation flow. You'll walk away with a deeper understanding of what goes into a "real-world" conversational application.
