The Block Chain: A Tourist's Introduction

Block chain technology became interesting through the popularity of Bitcoin. An understanding of this technology and its application has the potential to change many of the ways we conduct business and more generally interact with each other. This presentation will describe the technology, the problems that it solves, and some of the potential impacts it has for us. I hope to offer some concrete examples of the technology in action.
