With three classrooms and five conference rooms outfitted as dedicated ZoomRooms, the College of Education has been on a mission to connect distant students and collaborators to classes and meetings for the past three years. With the recent adoption of Zoom as the campus-wide online classroom tool, units may be looking at how to best enable Zoom in their spaces.
This presentation will demonstrate some of the camera and audio technologies used for different learning and collaborating spaces. From a 360-degree camera/microphone/speaker combination that makes popping Zoom capabilities into an unequipped room a breeze to multicamera setups for classrooms that allow the remote participants to richly interact with both their instructor and classmates, the presentation will detail the components and configurations in use at the COE.
