Are you overwhelmed by the idea of incorporating assignments that require producing multimedia? How much “how-to” technical knowledge is just right to feel comfortable enough to assign and complete a multimedia project? Instead of focusing on a specific Adobe application, or on a particular media (e.g., video) or genre (e.g., infographic), try focusing on specific functions within specific Adobe applications. Get a list of specific functions within specific Adobe applications with ideas for implementing in your classes, and even some hands-on practice. Leave with specific assignment ideas and supporting documents (assignment prompts, application instruction and support materials, etc.) that you can implement the next day.
