Office of the Registrar Prioritization Schema and Project Classification Standard 

How do you prioritize your projects? The Office of the Registrar created a schema for projects and process changes that balances Urgency factors (service to students, goal alignment, scale, deadline) and Impact (compliance needs, risk to institution, increased efficiencies, and cost benefit) to give each initiative a "grade." This grade is used to prioritize the Office's mission-critical work. A classification process then looks at the complexity and effort of the project to identify the appropriate support of centralized project management resources.
