Fernando Rios

Research Data Management Specialist, University of Arizona Libraries, Office of Digital Innovation and Stewardship

Fernando provides data management and curation consulting for faculty, postdocs, students, and staff in his role as the Library's Research Data Management Specialist. These consultative services include developing strategies for effective data management, sharing, and publishing; support for writing funder-mandated data management plans; and increasing research efficiency and impact via tools and workflows for reproducible research. While I have a background in geography and scientific computing, my current interests include research reproducibility and software preservation with the goal of improving research transparency, accessibility, and stewardship.
