Iqbal Hossain

Iqbal Hossain is the lead data scientist for the University’s Institutional Knowledge Map, or KMAP. He earned his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and completed a postdoc at the Computer Science department at the University of Arizona. His areas of expertise include network analysis and visualization, design and analysis of algorithms, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning (ML).  He has 16 years of professional experience in research, developing IT systems, managing teams, and innovation.
