Secure All the Things: Using a Yubkey for 2-Factor on (Almost) All Your Accounts

Two-factor security is increasingly important for keeping accounts secure on an increasingly hostile Internet. It is widely known as a device for use with services like Duo (used by U of A) but it has a great deal of additional lesser known functionality that can be used to protect things as diverse as Gmail, Dropbox, PGP, SSH, and even Windows logons.

In this talk we’ll go over the four modes of Yubikey operation and how they can be used to easily and security provide 2-factor authentication for you and your users for a variety of accounts, on and off campus.
