What are YOU Going to Present?
Submit your Proposal by June 7
The proposal submission process is open for IT Summit 2019! All members of the UA campus community who have knowledge to share about IT tools, processes, or projects are invited to apply.
Please submit your proposal by Friday, June 7.
For those familiar with the IT Summit, we have a few small changes this year.
Session Lengths
We are streamlining the IT Summit schedule to make all sessions 50 minutes. Be sure to leave time within your 50 minutes for Q&A and networking.
If you do not have enough content for a full session, pair with a colleague to create a 50-minute presentation. You can either:
- coordinate with a peer who you know works in a similar area to create an expanded submission, or
- the program committee can attempt to match you with another submitter
There will be a hosted Teaching & Learning Lightning Round session of 10-minute presentations related to instructional design/technologies. If you have questions about the Teaching & Learning Lightning Round session, please email Garry Forger at gforger@email.arizona.edu(link sends e-mail).
You are still also welcome to present your information on a poster, or to develop a three-hour, hands-on workshop for Spring 2020. Instead of having Workshop Day as a second day to the main Summit in the fall, it has been moved to spring to allow for more participation and rebranded IT Summit interACTIVE.
Suggested Session Topics
IT Summit and interACTIVE workshop attendees have provided feedback on specific topics they are interested in. Please consider submitting a proposal if you have the knowledge to share with your peers on any of these subjects—or if you know someone with this expertise, encourage them to participate. You are welcome to submit a topic not on this list, though!
