Collaborate on research can be tedious time wasters. Dropbox, Google Drive, or GitHub address these problems but our work can easily become scattered and hard to keep track of. How do we keep everything organized without having to move to an entirely new service? In a lab setting, how to keep track of who’s doing what? How can we implement a good data management strategy for increased reproducibility?
This poster gives an overview and examples of how to use the Open Science Framework (OSF), a free platform that addresses inefficiencies in research collaboration, project management, research dissemination, and more. The University has partnered with OSF to enable NetID logon and to allow affiliating projects with the University. Additionally, projects can optionally be made public via a branded discovery portal.
